Family Orientation Facebook Discussion Group

Connect with First-Year Families.

Part of the Husky Experience includes building a support mechanism for family members as you support your student's transition. We invite you to join our closed Facebook group to meet other first-year families and get all of your transition questions answered. The group is moderated by First Year Programs staff and will include UW Parent and Family Programs and other campus department contributions.

The discussion group is open for a limited about of time. We hope you will make connections based on your interest, join other UW communities throughout the academic year, and continue to stay connected with UW Parent and Family Programs for year-round engagement.

How to Join: Please encourage your student to register you for Family Orientation. All registered participants will receive a link to the Family Orientation agenda which will include a link to join the Facebook discussion group.

First-year students must register family members to access Family Orientation resources.
