2021 Husky 100 Recipients

May 27, 2021

The Husky 100 has recently announced their third class of students, and FYP is excited to recognize a few of these 100 that have worked with our office! This award gives credit to students from all three UW campuses who have made the most of their Husky Experience through their commitment, engagement, and achievements.

The application process was open to juniors, seniors, and matriculated graduate students from all three campuses and included resume submission, personal statements, and letters of recommendation. This year’s selected students will be recognized in spring quarter and will have profiles on the new Husky 100 website. Additionally, they receive benefits including networking opportunities, exclusive career counseling, and invitations to events hosted by the president and provost.

Five of these 100 aspiring students have worked within our office in various capacities. Reese O'Craven is FYP's 2021 First-year Engagement Student Coordinator. Michael Chungyoun, Sharae Ratliff, Alyssa Fruge, and Fatemah Alkhamis have all led First-year Interest Groups (FIGs) for one or more years.

A huge congratulations to all of the students who make up the Husky 100, and thank you to those that have assisted us in the past!
