View the UW's response to COVID-19. Our services and staff are available remotely and by phoneAdvising & Orientation sessions will remain in a remote platform through 2021. For more information, review our Remote Advising & Orientation Updates page.

It is important for all of us to do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. An important part of working to keep our community safe is by wearing a face-covering. While attending a Dawg Daze event we ask all attendees to wear a face-covering when indoors or outdoors, regardless of vaccination status. If you do not have a face covering, we ask that you leave the event immediately. If you need a face-covering please email fyp@uw.edu or visit MGH 120. (updated 9/8/21)

Freshman International A&O

Advising & Orientation (A&O) is an opportunity to prepare for your first-year experience at the UW. By attending A&O, you will work with peers, faculty, staff, and administrators to connect to resources, build community, and register for courses that will support your overall success at the University of Washington.

Per local and state guidance, A&O programs, as well as Family Orientation, will be facilitated remotely (online). Stay updated on "Covid-19 and Remote Advising & Orientation information".

New international students should visit "Coronavirus information for F1 & J1 students" on the International Student Services website for up-to-date information regarding returning to the UW for autumn quarter.
