First Year Programs

Dawg Daze Leaders

Dawg Daze Leaders volunteer their time during the Dawg Daze Welcome Week program to welcome and orient new and returning students to campus. During Dawg Daze, new students attend academic departmental fairs, tour athletic facilities, take free dance classes, meet with a professor in a small group, learn how to find a job, watch free outdoor concerts...and more!

Dawg Daze leaders provide programming and logistical support for all of these Welcome Week events, and act as UW ambassadors to ensure this is a memorable and enjoyable experience for all students. Dawg Daze leaders can expect a 10–15 hour commitment during the week prior to Autumn Quarter.

The application period for 2009 Dawg Daze Leaders has opened! Check the Dawg Daze website for more information and to submit your application today.
