Parent Orientation is hosted in a Zoom webinar platform. This means that information will be presented online through live presentations and pre-recorded videos. All webinars include opportunities to ask questions to presenters through the Q&A (question & answer) function.

Feel free to come and go as you please. You can drop in to a few select webinars or participate in the webinar running all day. Pre-recorded videos and slides will be available after the Parent Orientation so you can review at any time in case you miss some information.

  1. Visit zoom.us to create an account using your personal email address (or sign in to an existing account).

  2. Use the links listed on the agenda below to join the webinar.

  3. In some cases, the system may ask you to sign in again. Please do so using the account you created.

  4. The webinar will open in a new window - no worries, your microphone and camera will be permanently turned off throughout the Parent Orientation.

  5. The webinar includes 3 functions: Q&A, Raise Hand, and Chat. Use these functions to ask questions to the presenters, participate in polls, and communicate issues with orientation staff.
