Students asked, and we listened. More information before you come to Advising and Orientation (A&O) on campus!
We want you to begin your Husky experience with access to information that will help you be successful as you transition to the University of Washington. University 101 (U101) is a self-guided, online course that prepares you for your on-campus A&O session.
Through U101 you have access to videos of current students, faculty, and professional staff members who will teach you important information about the UW. You'll have the opportunity to answer reflection questions and become familiar with important terms and resources. When you come on campus for A&O you will be able to discuss U101 information and set goals for the first year and beyond.
First Year Programs fosters a successful undergraduate student experience through strategic programming that focuses on positive academic transitions and the development of learning communities. Through partnerships with faculty, staff, alumni, and student leaders our programs create the space for students to define how they will engage, learn, and thrive at the University of Washington.
