University 101 is a self-guided course designed to prepare you for your on-campus or hybrid Advising & Orientation (A&O) session. U101 consists of 3 components that must be completed before your A&O session. Start U101 at least 2 weeks prior to your A&O session. On average, students complete U101 in 3 to 4 hours, so please plan ahead.
In order to access the online modules, you will need to sign in with your UW NetID and password. Don't forget to activate or forward your UW email. After completing the FINAL SURVEY, the system will show a "checkmark" next to "NEXT STEPS" then you will have completed the modules.
Registration Resources gives you an overview about registering for classes during A&O.You can refer to these resources after A&O as you make changes to your schedule throughout the academic year. This component is an online course in Canvas, which is the learning management system used by instructors.
eCheckup is a brief confidential screening survey, which will give you personalized feedback about alcohol and resources available at the UW. Through this survey, you will learn about the resources available on campus and in our local community to help you or to help a friend.
