Parent Orientation

Parents and families of students entering fall 2018 are strongly encouraged to attend Parent Orientation this summer.

Parent Orientation is a day-long series of presentations, workshops, and tours for parents and families of first year students. Parent Orientation is offered in conjunction with the second day of the student Advising & Orientation (A&O) program.

  • Parent Orientation is designed for parents and other adult family members. Information presented may not be appropriate or engaging for younger siblings or children.
  • A separate registration fee is charged in order to participate in Parent Orientation. This fee is billed directly to your student's tuition account and is used to offset the cost of planning the Parent Orientation program (facilities reservations, meals, parking, supplies/materials, staffing, etc.).
  • When your student registers for an A&O session online, they will be able to register parents or family members for Parent Orientation.
