During the 2-day A&O session you can choose to stay overnight on campus for an additional fee. If you chose to stay overnight on campus your overnight housing reservation and fees will be listed in your confirmation email. All linens will be provided in the residence halls. Please bring personal items and toiletries.
Housing for A&O will be located in the West Campus residence halls. Check in for your housing reservation will be located in Lander Hall. The Lander Hall front desk is open 24 hours.
Arrival Day Before A&O Session - Early Arrival
If you plan on arriving on campus the day before your orientation, please check in at Lander Hall any time after 2:00 pm.
Arrival Day of A&O Session
Check in at Lander Hall anytime between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. If you arrive before 10:00 am, you may drop off your luggage and then check-in to your room at the designated times.
Departure on Day 2 of A&O Session
Check out is at 4:45 PM the day that your A&O session ends. This will be day 2 of your A&O session.
Departure on Day After A&O Session - Late Departure
If you are staying an extra night, check out must be completed before 11:00 am the day after your A&O session ends.
Two-Week Cancellation Policy
If you need to change your A&O session, you can do so online up to two weeks prior to your A&O session. You can always check to see if you have signed up for housing in the residence halls during you’re A&O session by logging on to the First Year Programs website. If you wish to make a reservation within two weeks of your Advising and Orientation session, accommodations will be offered depending upon availability only and you must call FYP to make reservations. The deadline for canceling any or all of your housing reservations is 12pm Pacific Standard Time on the day two weeks prior to the start date of your A&O session.
