This course is intended to support students currently applying to graduate-level health professional programs including dental, medical, optometry, pharmacy, and veterinary schools. UW pre-health advisers will guide students in preparing their applications, writing effective personal statements that reflect students' unique skills and strengths, securing strong letters of recommendation, choosing schools, and interviewing like a pro. The class will include visits from admissions personnel and other experts in the field. Students can expect to engage in active learning as they assess and reflect upon their experiences and their readiness for professional school. For more information visit the course website.
