The council discusses programs provided to first year students that are supported by the New Student Enrollment Fee (NSEOF). These programs includes Advising and Orientation, Dawg Daze, First-year Interest Groups Commuter & Transfer Commons, and Academic Support Programs (CLUE/Tutor Mentor Program).
The council meets in December and reviews the agenda items for the rest of the academic year. Meetings will be 60-90 minutes, and held once a month in January - May. The Council will have representatives from various student organizations and along with first year students at large. View the invitation letter for student organizations.
