First Year Programs

First-year (Freshman/ Transfer) Network Leader

The role of Network Leader is new and aims to help students begin connecting with each other during Dawg Daze. As a Network Leader, you will curate the events that will take place based on the theme of the Network you are hired for.

**Position is only open to former First-year Interest Group Leaders, former Orientation Leaders, and Dawg Daze Leadership Council members. Applicants must be enrolled at the UW-Seattle campus through the end of the 2020 Fall Quarter.**

Required availability for the role: 

  • Possible start as early as the beginning of July
  • Flexible 20 hours total from July 1 to September 15 for planning & training (3 required 1-hour training sessions & individual work outside of those training sessions) 
  • 3 one-hour required training sessions between July 1 to September 15
  • Variable evening and weekend availability for Dawg Daze and selected events throughout the quarter
  • During Dawg Daze (9/24-9/29) 20 hours, (9/30-10/3) 5 hours
  • Flexible 15 hrs/week during Fall quarter specifically with availability within 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. time frame for office hours
