• Full-time undergraduate student status
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 upon application, and maintained throughout tenure in the position. Any exceptions must be approved by the CTC Program Manager and result in a specific alternative arrangement with regard to GPA
  • Familiarity with campus resources, departments, offices and services available at the University
  • Professional communication skills, and the ability to serve as a positive and professional representative of FYP when communicating with other campus departments and offices
  • Familiarity with the mission and operations of the Office of First Year Programs
  • Energetic interest in fostering community among commuter students
  • Willingness and ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with people; and learning from them and with them
