First-Year Interest Groups (FIGs)

FIGs help new students find their way at UW through connection and bulding intentional learning communities. Offered during Autumn Quarter, FIGs are made up of clusters of classes tied to a GEN ST 199 course, a seminar facilitated by peer instructors that focuses on adjusting and finding both social and academic success at UW.
